Correct Method of Matching Horoscopes For Marriage & Love Compatibility

Marriage & Love Compatibility is a method in astrology which is used to analyze if two people are compatible with each other & would be able to sustain their love for each other throughout the life.

There are different methods in astrology to see how will be the married life & love life of a person. This is because being married is different from being in love. But this method checks compatibility of two people and is applicable to both marriage & love life.

Matching Moon Signs, Manglik or Non-Manglik, planetary placements w.r.t. Moon or Venus or Mars does not give correct results.

To accurately match the horoscopes of two people placement of all the nine planets should be carefully observed & sometimes Uranus, Neptune & Pluto also counts and then the results obtained are correct.

All these placements are seen from the Ascendant (Lagna) only and the lord of the Ascendant & planets in the Ascendant always have a major say.

Which Planetary Time Period (Dasha) System You Should Follow & How To Get Correct Predictions?

Planetary time periods indicate which planet will be ruling upon your life at a particular time. A planet gives its results when you are going through the time period of that planet & nature of the results is in accordance with the placement of that planet along with other planets influencing it in your birth chart.

Planetary Period Systems

In Sanskrit, planetary time period is known as Dasha. There are more than 43 Dasha systems while Parashar Rishi alone has mentioned 42 systems. The most popular Dasha system are Vimshottari, Yogini, Char & Ashtottari.

  • Vimshottari - Assumes that maximum life span of a human being is 120 years and this is the aggregate duration of all planetary dashas i.e. Ketu (7), Venus (20), Sun (6), Moon (10), Mars (7), Rahu (18), Jupiter (16), Saturn (19) and Mercury (17), in the order of their operation.

  • Yogini - Total Duration of a Yogini Dasha is 36 years and this is the order of operation & duration of each dasha, Moon (1), Sun (2), Jupiter (3), Mars (4), Mercury (5), Saturn (6), Venus (7) and Rahu (8), Ketu is excluded in this system. Texts says that Lord Shiva mentioned about this Dasha when he was talking with the Goddess Parvati.

  • Char - This is the Dasha of Zodiac sign & not planets and this was proposed by Jaimini Rishi. The order of Dasha is either clockwise (direct) or anti-clockwise (indirect). The order is clockwise when a person is having an odd sign  in the Ascendant & anti-clockwise if having an even sign  in the Ascendant. Eg: Leo Ascendant, Dasha will start from Leo & will end a Cancer sign. Duration of each Dasha is not fixed & calculated based upon planetary positions.

  • Ashtottari - This system is not applicable on everyone. Parashar Rishi says that this Dasha is applicable when a native is born when Moon is waning or at the night of Waxing Moon and that too when Rahu is in quadrant with the Ascendant Lord. Sun (6), Moon (15), Mars (8), Rahu (17), Jupiter (10), Saturn (19), Mercury (12) & Venus (21). The duration is 108 years and Ketu is not a part of it.

The Vimshottari, Yogini & Ashtottari dashas depends upon the placements of Moon.

System To Follow

Astrologers suggest applying multiple Dasha systems in order to know about a number of possible events that can occur in life. In my personal experience, I have found that using Vmishottari Dasha system is enough to obtain accurate results. In Vimshottari Dasha, timing of Dasha depends upon in which constellation the Moon is placed.

At a time, you are not running through the Dasha of one single planet all the time, you are going through Main Time Period (Maha Dasha), Sub Time Period (Antar Dasha) & Sub-sub Time Period (Paryantar Dasha). The lords of these planets can be same or different.

You do not need to go into calculations because there are software which you can use to find out which planetary time period you are going through. But still I am giving one example to those who wish to understand.

Calculation of Time Periods
Suppose, your Jupiter's main time period started which is 16 years long. In that time period, you will also go through time periods of other planet as well. The first sub period in main time period of any planet belongs to that planet only & same is the case with sub-sub period. The sequence of time periods is cyclic and it goes from Ketu to Mercury always.

Sequence of Sub Time Period in Jupiter Dasha: Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu, Venus, Sun, Moon, Mars & Rahu

Length of Jupiter Sub Time Period in Jupiter Main Time Period: 16 * (16/120) = 2.13 years
Length of Saturn Sub Time Period in Jupiter Main Time Period: 16 * (19/120) = 2.53 years
Length of Jupiter Sub-sub in Jupiter Sub Time Period: 2.13 * (16/120) = 0.284 years = 104 days

Similarly, you can calculate the duration of all the Sub & Sub-sub Time Periods.

Why Not To Follow Multiple Systems?
While using one single system of Dasha you need to take three different planets into account in order to find out what will happen at a particular time in your life. One planet can signify multiple events and a combination of three planets will signify even more. If you will take multiple Dasha systems to find out what will happen, you will have to see even more number of planets and together they will signify almost everything. Some planets will indicate issues with friends while other will tell about relationship with the colleagues and these things are a part of life. We do not need to predict if your friend will say yes for a treat or your crush will pass a smile today. We use astrology to predict major events like marriage, reconciliation, getting into relationship, promotion, accidents, foreign travel and things like that.

Marriage: Time of Marriage, Married Life and Nature of Future Life Partner

Marriage happens when two people of opposite gender agree to live with each other with the consent of society. Telling this statement is necessary in order for you to understand how to see if marriage is promised by a planet and then timing the event based upon time period native goes through.

Marriage is not when two people agree to get into a live-in relationship or mate when they are deeply in love with each other. Mostly when astrologers who fail to predict your marriage timings may tell you this statement that, “You might have been in a live-in relationship with someone or marriage also counts when you have had sex”. This is not true.

Career Astrology

Career astrology is about calculating & predicting what would be the status of a person in the world. It indicates how much a person can rise in his life irrespective of how much that person is educated. We always see examples where a person who is not much qualified makes millions.

Career astrology is different from predicting & timing events of life. Either an event will happen in life or not but that’s not the case with the career. If planets support the person will attain heights, if they don’t then the person will live an average life and if they are against then a person leads a miserable life.

While doing career astrology it’s important to know what is the role of each & every house and relative importance of every house regarding career.

Career astrology is applied to predict the following things:
Status of a person in the society Kind of work a person will do Field in which a person will work Type of place where the person will work Person’s ability to earn mon…

Rashi Chart or Bhava Chalit Chart for Prediction

In Predictive Hindu Astrology, there is a major role of Bhava Chalit chart. While Rashi chart remains same for almost 2 days, Bhava Chalit is changing every minute. It calculates in which cusp a planet and a zodiac sign is actually present.

The placement of planets in Rashi Chart & in the Ascendant Chart (Main Birth Chart) is same, it is just that the Ascendant chart is rotated till the Moon comes in the first house and we call it Rashi Chart. I personally recommend that you avoid seeing Rashi Chart as the Ascendant Chart gives the most accurate results.

Moon is very important and we do take Moon's placement into account by following the time period system that is just based upon Moon & stars. Now, we have to take the placement of other planets into account. The Ascendant chart indicates which planet was transiting in your 10th house (right above your head) or 7th house (western horizon) or any other house at the time when you were born.

The zodiac sign in the Ascendant…

Child Birth: Timing via Predictive Astrology

Child birth is the most important event in anyone's life. It is the flow of life from one generation to the next. Predicting child birth requires the birth horoscope of both mother and father and not just of father or mother. We can predict the time when child would be conceived & not the time when child will take birth.
First, we need to see that the horoscope does supports child birth. If the majority of planets in the horoscopes of husband and wife are positive for child birth then it will happen anyway. Second, we need to find out the best time period for the mother to conceive in order to give birth to a healthy baby.
If the mother goes through good time periods, gets the proper nutrition and care then her body will stay healthy and the child born would be healthy. Horoscope of father is not required once the child is conceived.

Understanding Nirayana Bhava Chalit Chart & Its Importance in Prediction Making

On observing this sky from the Earth, we see billions of stars. A group of stars when forms a recognizable pattern, we call it a constellation. There could be uncountable number of constellations in the skies depending upon from where we see it. We see them from the Earth and the astronomers have discovered 88 constellations till now.

In astrology, we only use 27 constellations and they form the entire zodiac belt. There are 12 zodiac sign in this zodiac belt and each zodiac sign has a width of 30 degrees. Each zodiac sign is owned by a certain planet and a planet can be present either in its own zodiac sign or in some other zodiac sign.

The zodiac sign which a planet occupies depends upon the point of reference, the Earth. Earth is moving around the Sun along with other planets, therefore, the speeds of movement of other planets appear to be changing all the time. This happens due to the relative motion of Earth and the other planet. If we change our point of reference from Earth …
